Alzheimer's Association (Malta)
Support, information and advocacy for people living with dementia and their families, including memory cafés and carer training.
A searchable directory of every health organisation working in Malta and Gozo — our members and non-members alike. Compiled through dedicated research so that patients, carers, clinicians and policymakers can find the right organisation in one place. We hold each entry's name, website, contact and health area; the Atlas is a directory, not a map.
The Atlas began as a simple question: how many health NGOs actually operate in the Maltese islands, and who does what? To answer it, our secretariat spent months cross-checking the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations register, patient-group listings and word-of-mouth referrals, then contacting each organisation directly to confirm its details and health area.
The result is a living record of 52 organisations. It is deliberately inclusive: alongside the members of the Malta Health Network you will find non-member NGOs, because a complete picture of the sector serves patients better than a members-only list. Entries are refreshed twice a year, and organisations can request a correction at any time.
